Pevensie Consulting Ltd is owned and managed by Graham Steed. Graham has 23 years of professional tax experience. For 17 years, he worked as a Tax Inspector and Compliance Relationship Manager working for the Inland Revenue and HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) in Cambridge and Peterborough. During this time, he was adept at handling the tax affairs of companies ranging from the smallest micro-businesses through to the largest multi-nationals, along with high-net-worth individuals and public figures.
When HMRC closed its Cambridge office in 2017, Graham set up Pevensie Consulting in Cambridge. He now has a very broad client base, including etsy traders, artists, software engineers, university academics, company directors, landlords, builders and start-ups, among others.
Graham also has specialist knowledge of R&D tax credits, having worked on the R&D tax credits team at HMRC for 7 years. Graham now offers this extensive experience in a consulting capacity, frequently preparing R&D claims and defending them against HMRC enquiries.
